Frequent questions

All guests must be 18 years of age or older to check in to the hotel. Minors must be accompanied by adults at all times.

Identification is required at check-in. Please ensure you have a valid form of identification, such as a passport or driver's license.

  • Once the reservation is made, you will be billed 100% of the fee. Charges will be made at any time after making the reservation. This charge will be manually processed to the provided credit card
  • Any guest who does not arrive for their stay will be marked as a "NO SHOW". They will not be entitled to a refund.
  • If you cancel 7 days BEFORE the check-in date, you are entitled to a 100% refund.
  • If you cancel WITHIN 7 days or do not show up for your stay, you are not entitled to any refund.
  • If you change the date within 7 days of arrival, you are not entitled to any refund. You will have the option to change the date. Only one date change is allowed. Prices may vary depending on the season. The customer will have to pay the price difference based on the chosen date.
  • Reservations labeled as non-refundable/non-cancellable incur a charge equivalent to the full deposit, regardless of the cancellation date.
  • No refunds will be given if you decide to make a last-minute change. If, for any reason, the customer does not pay the balance owed, the reservation will be immediately canceled.
  • No money will be refunded once the customer has checked in, regardless of the reason.
  • No exceptions will be made. We reserve the right to admission.

  • At the time of check-in, the customer must present the identification and credit card provided during the reservation.
  • Requests for Early Check-In and Late Check-Out are subject to availability.

Gift certificates are available. The original gift certificate must be presented at the time of check-in. Photocopies or photographs will not be accepted, and all hotel policies must be followed.

  • The cost for a lost key is $30.00. The charge for the loss of the TV and A/C remote control is $50.00. All rooms are inventoried and delivered clean.

We have refrigerators in the rooms. The entry of coolers is prohibited.

  • Rates are based on room selection. An additional charge of $35 USD per person per night will apply, if permitted.
  • The maximum occupancy is 2 to 4 people, depending on the room selected. 

Security cameras have been installed to ensure the safety of tenants, monitor tenant and employee activities. These cameras have been placed in public areas. No cameras have been placed in the rooms, public bathrooms, room bathrooms, and/or room balconies. These cameras have the capability to focus, have a wide field of vision, and record 24/7.

  • The pool's opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Pool towels must be requested at the reception.
  • We do not have lifeguards; swimming is at your own risk.
  • Use of the pool outside of established hours is prohibited. If you do so, you will be warned and asked to leave the premises without refund.
  • The pool is for registered guests only. You must shower before entering the pool. Eating is not allowed in the pool. Glass is not allowed in the pool. Children may not run around the pool, in the hallways, or on the stairs. Hand-to-hand combat and pushing are not allowed around the pool. Under no circumstances are children allowed in the pool alone without adult supervision.
  • Room service during your stay will be provided at any time after 9:00 am. Your bed will be made up as long as there are no items on it, the trash will be taken out, and towels will be replaced if you place them on the floor, in accordance with our eco-friendly hotel policy.
  • Your room will be fully serviced every 3 days of your stay.
  • Real candles, stoves, and any kind of fire-generating devices are not allowed in the room.

Each room includes one parking space. Only one vehicle per room. If we identify a vehicle that does not belong to the room, you will be asked to remove it immediately. Jet skis and boats are not permitted. Please consider bringing mid-size or compact vehicles due to limited parking space.

Only ADA-compliant service animals are welcome. The hotel must be notified at the time of booking. If we identify an unregistered pet in your room, a charge of fifty dollars per day will be billed to your credit card.

The use of personal speakers is prohibited. Please be considerate of other guests and keep your voice at a moderate level both during the day and at night. This way, we can all enjoy a pleasant stay!

Guests will be charged a 5% resort fee per night, which includes: self-parking, credit card services, and housekeeping services upon request.

You must sign all receipts provided by our employees for opened accounts.

Before check-out, the customer will be notified of any outstanding balance. If there are outstanding balances, the credit card provided at the time of booking will be automatically billed.

  • Estancia La Jamaca Inc. is not responsible for lost items or money on the property.

  • Smoking in the rooms is subject to a charge of one hundred fifty dollars.

Rental cars are recommended. We do not offer airport transfers or shuttles.

  • Hotel Nautilus assumes no responsibility for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left something of value behind, please call us immediately at 787-899-4565 and we will attempt to assist you in locating your lost item.
  • Hotel Nautilus is not responsible for any items left behind by guests. However, any items, with the exception of perishable goods, left by our guests and found after check-out by housekeeping staff will be collected, removed, and stored in a secure location for the owner to retrieve for up to 3 days. A reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item has been found. Perishable goods, underwear, and miscellaneous toiletries will be disposed of.
  • We will gladly return your lost item(s) via the United States Postal Service. Your credit card will be charged for packaging and postage plus a $20.00 handling fee. A separate receipt will be mailed to you. Hotel Nautilus is not responsible for any items lost or misdirected during shipping via the United States Postal Service.
  • Lost and found items are held for 3 days while we attempt to contact the guest. If we are unable to contact the guest during this waiting period, unclaimed items are disposed of accordingly.
  • We are equipped with a generator in case of a power outage.
  • We have water reservoirs in case of a water outage.
  • No parties, personal speakers, or unnecessary loud talking to registered guests are allowed. Please be respectful and considerate of other guests on the property. Only private parties or pre-established events on the property are permitted.
  • Hotel Nautilus enforces a No Room Party policy to ensure that we can protect the hotel and our guests at all times. Parties, loud disturbances, and/or annoying noises are not allowed or tolerated on these premises. In the case of disturbances, a polite request to reduce the noise will be made. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without a refund.
  • In case of an emergency, please call 911 immediately.
  • The hotel is fully equipped with smoke detectors and emergency evacuation plans on the door of each room. Please review this important information on your room's door.
